Because, they're worth it!
A Typical Day at the Kennel
All dogs staying with us are housed in our state of the art, elevated, molded fiberglass runs. Each run provides our canine guests with a quiet, private space to rest and relax while taking a break from training or playing.
6:30-8:00 am - Good Morning! Everyone is let out to potty and breakfast is served while we begin cleaning the kennel.
8:00-8:30 am - Everyone takes a morning nap in their kennel while dogs are picked up and dropped off.
8:30-10:00 am - We begin morning training sessions with the dogs that are staying with us for boarding and training. We also exercise the dogs that are here boarding with us during this time. Exercise includes individual or pack walks on the 100 acres of trails and paths, swimming in the two ponds (weather permitting), walking or jogging on the treadmill, or play sessions in the training room or fenced in outdoor yard. The amount and type of exercise is dependent on the level of training and physical needs of each individual dog.
10:00-12:00 pm - We teach lessons in the training room while dogs relax in their kennels, either napping on their raised beds or chewing on one of the many toys provided for them.
12:00-2:00 pm - Everyone is let out again for a potty break, and all of the dogs staying for the board and train are out again for training sessions. Depending on who is staying with us, there may also be some play time too! Any dogs that are on a three times a day feeding schedule will get their midday meal.
2:00-4:00 pm- We teach lessons in the training room while dogs relax in their kennels, either napping on their raised beds or chewing on one of the many toys provided for them.
4:00-5:00 pm- Everyone is let out again for a potty break and dinner is fed close to 5pm.
7:30-9:00pm- Everyone is let out again for a potty break, training session and/or play time. All dogs are tucked in for the night between 8:30-9pm.
